[RFI] New Interference at kk0sd

Its sounds like 120hz to me (power lines ). I recorded a segment and run 
it through Audacity, expanded it out, and can see the spikes at about 
that rate. No street views on google for your QTH but from satellite it 
looks like your util's are underground? That commercial facility close 
to you that was previously mentioned might be the source or some arc in 
a neighbors house (could be dangerous, you could do someone a big favor 
but it maybe hard convincing them of that).

Time to triangulate I suppose. Oh, no offense, but I had a FT847 and the 
noise blanker on it did not work well for me. A good NB IMO can help a 
lot until you find the source. Also a null type noise suppressor (ANC-4, 
etc) can help but are much more tricky to use than a NB. Best NB's I 
have are in order TS-830s, Triton IV, IC-7100.

Unless you live on acreage that you control or are lucky to have a util 
with the equipment and knowledgeable person working there, its getting 
to where hams need to budget for and/or build their own rfi location 
equipment. I have....
