[RFI] Another Solar Panel Interference Case

If the FCC had nipped this problem in the beginning, we would not be where
we are today. That was the time when FCC still had budget and manpower to
perform their functions. They still did very little to prevent the
problems the digital revolution has precipitated. With the present
situation, why even have Part 15 or (mostly) the rest of CFR47?

At present, FCC is freeloading off ARRL for investigations into solar RFI
complaints by amateurs. That WAS (at one time) one of the tasks for which
FCC was responsible and, on paper, still is. All of us ARRL members pay
for that service which is chartered to the FCC.
