How ironic that all of this talk about a return to less technological times is being conducted on the Internet, a technology that is far beyond the technology from olden days that some here seem to think is better.

If people were really serious about returning to those days, they would stop posting here and not have it be one of those do-as-they-say, not do-as-they-do sort of things. 🙂

The human race also did fine without automobiles before 1910. Imagine how
much better things would be if we went back to horse transportation. No
need for paved roads and the tax burden that goes with them. Far fewer
transportation-related deaths. A ready supply of natural fertilizer for
farms. /sarcasm
