Thanks, Gary - I'll be grabbing screenshots of the waterfall on different bands at different times of the day and night. Like you, I have recorded for several years the background noise levels on each HF band whenever I'm in front of the radio, but I haven't captured screenshots from the panadapter. My notes are just that - listening log jottings.
The neighbor's new PV array may be generating RFI already even though it's not yet connected to the grid. I've been away today helping another ham track down RFI at his station - ironic, I know.
Thanks to all for comments - will post when I have more concrete data.

Be sure to record detailed data on your current noise level on all bands before the solar installation. Panfall display screenshots are very useful. You will need this to prove your claims regarding additional RFI. I check and log noise levels at my station regularly, looking for surprises… and I always find something.
