[RFI] Question about common mode noise

Thanks, Dave. Yes. My colleague Neil Muncy, ex-W3WJE, (SK) reminded
attendees of his EMC workshops that "the earth is not a SUMP into which
hum, buzz, and RFI is poured."

Another of his great admonitions in those classes was, "Grab a six-pack
and park at the end of a runway at O'Hare (substitute the local airport
for other class locations) and call me collect when you see an aircraft
taking off trailing a ground wire," and reminding attendees that many
complex systems all work just fine. (Except in my experience, for
in-flight headphone systems, which I remember often with noise/buzz.)
