First "Congratulations, Ed!"  - Awesome effort.

Second - This contest was an exercise in frustration for me.  The
conditions aside, it is discouraging that after all the equipment checks
before the contest, the station didn't perform.  I am not sure what is
wrong - radio cables or antennas , but I could not get my K3 to load up
properly.  I will have to take a long hard look at everything figure it out
.  The joys of amateur radio.

On the plus side, I should have a new country on 40M - New Zealand.  There
is always a silver lining.....

Comments:

Nothing like a contest to show you the weaknesses in your station.  Despite
checking everything before still had issues with the station and had to pull
out much to soon.  Now to get ready for the next contest.
