Of course, the strongest station I can hear is always Ed down the road ...
still whacks out a section of the band for me ;-)
Didn't hear alot of the guys on ... other than Ed, I did hear Harm
working, but didn't work him. I heard John VJR working guys.
You may (or may not) have noticed I used a new callsign ... I worked Ed a
couple of times before he figured to check out who this "new" guy was ...
came back a minute later "hey - didn't know it was you!" .. haha ...
Had the obligatory "TV?" "EA"? etc ;-) Even had PJ2T call me "ed"!
you guys were chatting .. as Cary msg'ed me saying "really?" ... you know
the tone ...
I did hear Cary making a run on Sunday I think - so had to jump in. For
some reason his signal was stronger.
I did work 6SV Jerry was on the line at the time
Some of the other local calls I heard ... DDW, AMP, DPR. I worked VY2TT -
sounded like Cary -- but I guess not.
Anyways -- score from 3830 is below -- sad:

Comments:
I didn't feel bad only working less than half the contest!
First time using the new call - made for some interesting questions a few
times
- been called some other guys too :-)
I had to put a sheet with BIG LETTERS next to my monitor for my callsign to
remind myself to use the right call! ... hopefully I didn't bork anyone
else's
call ... had a few runs busy - but beyond that - don't know what to say. I
could tell the conditions were bad - heard some of the other guys
commenting as
well, so I did about the same as last year I suspect - maybe less
considering
the time. Had to walk outside one day to see if my antennas had come down
--
my noise floor dropped considerably all of a sudden! ... then back to
normal.
Sunday mid afternoon was a bit of an opening.
Enjoyed it - but also was aggravating -- who knew?!
