Hello Members of RSM,

Thank you very much for the GoToMeeting arrangement to be present at the
Rob Sherwood presentation. Rob, really has his "poop together" regarding
what's needed for us contesters and Dxers in the rig department.

Are we all "locked and loaded" for CQWW DX SSB this weekend?

The solar wind is trending down, K-Index is trending down and nothing on the
immediate solar horizon for any coronal holes or flares.

As of 1600Z the 20M band is open to much of Europe and Africa, 15M CN3A is
solid at S8 here. Add couple of G's and I's.

Check the CQWW WPX web site as CQ WPX SSB 2017 results are now online.
Full write up can be found in the CQ Sept issue.

This year VE6SV subscribed to K6TU's Prop Prediction service. Yes, twenty
years
plus of contesting from this QTH has provided real time experience which we
draw
on for operating strategy and execution during a contest.

This year part of the fun on doing the contest, is to observe if prediction
software analysis
and real time line happening have any correlation value.

Here is the web link to service: www.k6tu.net

What's cool with K6TU's service is that you provide details on your station
configuration
for each band (type of antenna, antenna heights and power). Plus, the
station config at
the target location.

Here is my Dropbox link of the prediction for VE6SV this weekend if you
want to see what it all
looks like;

VE6SV will be Multi-Single Team: VE4GV, VE6RST, VE6TL, VE6LDX, VA6AM

I strongly urgent that RSM members seek each other out and create some team
operating for this contest.
Doing as a team makes it even more fun!

73, Gord VE6SV
