Good Morning Marion,

>From your email I am unclear on the RFI issue.

When station is active;

- is the kitchen light creating the RFI which is heard and disrupts
receiving?

- or transmitting by the station invokes disruption in kitchen light?

The solution is different;

- replace the light ballast with a new ballast technology that has RFI
surpression

- apply RFI surpression components to the existing fixture to quiet it or
squelch RF getting into the fixture

- if the light fixture is not fluorescent and has a dimmer switch this is
needs addressing separately

- wiring to light may also be an issue, as it is acting like an antenna in
gathering RF power when the station is transmitting, this can be also be
resolved.

Knowing more details about the kitchen light will help plot a solution.

Have to help Marion, have Cary me to plot a solution.

Best Regards,

Gord VE6SV
