Club: Potomac Valley Radio Club

Going all-out to help fellow RSMer VE3CX, my original goal was to work
PJ2T as much as possible, and have whatever fun I could.  PJ2T usually
hears me well on 160M, but I was not getting through this time.  Went
to 80M where it was easy; asked "QSY?" and got sent back to 160M,
where I made it OK.  Kept scanning 20M, but did not hear them.  Looked
at 15M and found them right away, "light" and QSB; worked them and got
asked to QSY... to 10M (!), which had sounded dead last I had looked.
Nothing heard on 10M, but I kept checking the freq eveery 10 or 15
minutes.  Finally heard them, but never got through.  Back to scanning
20M, over and over.  Finally found them -- easy QSO -- and felt good
about making it on five bands.  Wait a minute -- why is there no 40M
QSO in the list???  Oh. rats!! I forgot to work them on 40M, and had
family obligations toward end of contest.  Oh well, four bands..Lots
of loud DX with good ears. Even had a couple of short runs.

Worked many Europeans on 160M (which did NOT happen in CQ 160 CW, even
with good condx then).  An advantage of being on the East Coast.

On 40M, realized that I might actually work my first JA.  (That's been
surprisinly hard for me from here on the East Coast.)  Failed to get
thru to a few of them, but then heard JT1CO and stuck around until I
got
him (them?).  Pretty nice for a First East Asia on 40M.

Manitoba?  i did hear VE4GV running a big pileup.  Was anbody else active?

Biggest highlight:  Listening in as N2IC worked some Eastern European
(maybe an E7).  So cool.  Then I easily worked the European.
