[RSM] Meeting Announcements

Big week ahead for RSM members.  On Tuesday we have a special presentation
by Jim K1IR on Tower safety and we have our regular meeting on Thursday.

 

Come learn the simple things every ham must know to dramatically reduce the
deadly risks of tower work. Recent tragic events and serious injuries drove
Jim's full investigation of amateur radio tower fatalities in the US over
the past 20 years. The results of the research are disturbing, but they also
show us exactly what we need to do to eliminate this problem in our
community. We are fortunate that Jim has agreed to travel north of the
border, virtually via an online meeting, and will speak to us about this
serious topic this coming Tuesday October 13 at 7:30 PM CST. This is an
excellent opportunity for all of us to gain from what he has learned and ask
questions as well.    We will be joined by WARC members and many other
guests.

 

Thursday is our regular October  RSM meeting. This month the special
presentation will be on antenna modelling software by our own Jessy.  More
details and a full agenda to come shortly.
