Thanks to all who responded to my earlier plea for help. The very first fellow to respond pegged the problem precisely, and gave me the cure. This is apparently well-known as the "your computer is too fast" (!) problem, and moslow will cure it. It does indeed...I've already formatted my binary and sent it on to G3SWH.
