[RTTY] new thread.. the RTTY Amplifier

Depends on what you are looking for.  If you are looking for
a mid-range amplifier up to 500 watts, I would highly recommend
the Ameritron AL-80B.  It's worked well the past 14 months I've
owned it including full use in last year and this year's JARTS
and WAE contests.

Single tube 4-500Z.  Manual tune.  So far, so good.

Gee, we must really be bored to be talking amplifiers, eh?

Ok guys, I've got the hots for a new amp for rtty contesting..

lets here the pro's and con's.. QRO, Commander, Ameritron 
and ???  Cost is easy to determine but what about performance,
reliability, efficiency, heat, noise, etc..
