Hi one and all,

Trust those of you who played CW over the weekend are recovered?

Now, I have just had an email from the reflector from one Rob Ball (??) and
it contained a virus attachment.
Fortunately, Norton caught it, and I wqas able to delete it on the fly.
Although it was an attachment, it was one seemingly designed to open as soon
as the email was opened, but - as I said - NAV allowed me to delete it.
It contains W32Badtrans so BE WARNED!

Also, I too have been plagued with all sorts of spam email of late! Over the
last few weeks, I reckon I must have had about 250+ emails for everything
from Viagra to breast enlargement drugs, through all the usual pervert
stuff. I have tried replying to a few with REMOVE as suggested at the end of
these emails, and I have to say that MOST of them simply bounce back with a
note that the email address is incorrect, or that the mailbox is full, and
cannot accept further emails.
I also have a sneaky feeling that many of these so-called companies splatter
ISP's with one email, and then sit back and see who replies. This then gives
them a REAL email address to play with, and they can probably then sell it
on! You might note that many of these emails are not specifically to YOUR
email address, but to undisclosed-recipients @ whatever.com or something of
that ilk. Best just to bin them, or block the sender.

73 for now, and look out for GU3HFN in TARA this weekend!
