Whew! much to learn on this one.. 

decided not to mess with settings in writelog.. just pulled up
the standalone mmtty engine and setup the 23hz rtty mode using
the sound card AFSK xmit..  have managed just 6 Q's so far
noting that UX0FF was at 029 when I worked him on 40 M at 0219Z
(only Q on 40, others on 20).. using the 250hz filter.. working
good.. 

catching a cold and its bed time for me.. maybe I'll try some
tomorrow..
