Looks like around 140 logs so far. That's pretty impressive. I ran the
CW NAQP yesterday and even though I had fun it wasn't nearly as much
fun as RTTY. It was a lot of work! Spoiled by the easy operating RTTY
mode I guess.
Almost the same thing happened in the CW test as what we experienced
during the RTTY test. An hour into the contest the bands went completely
dead. Not a signal anywhere. Since I already had a 2 hour break planned
for dinner, I stayed with it and started hearing signals about 10 minutes later. - Whew!
Worked a lot of the regular RTTY guys and it was great to see them on
that mode.
I even made 4 QSO's on 160M using my tribander and rig antenna tuner.
I wonder why the RTTY NAQP does not have 160M? I think we may have
discussed this once before, but I don't remember what the answer was.
I was surprised at all the signals I could hear with my tribander on 160 that were
non-existent on my 80M wire.
