Boy, that was something when the results of the flare showed up!  Got a
call from a local ham who asked if the band was as dead here as at his
place.  Easy answer - yes.  This kept the bands active until the end of the
contest due to a lot of us getting an unscheduled break caused by the flare.

Still the contest was a lot of fun.  

Thanks to the NCJ folks for organizing the contest and to all of you who
were kind enough to work me.
