pin 1 =  RS232 data out  (from the 6000)

pin 2 =  not used

pin 3 = MIL 188 data out

pin 4 =RS232 data in (to the 6000)

pin 5 = ground

pin 6 = MIL 188 data in

So, for RS232, you need pins 1,4, and 5.73,
