OK, thanks for all the info. Seems like everyone who has had one really likes them. A FT-1000 would be nice, but a little out of my price range but for a couple hundred more than the 751, I can get a 850. Anything would probably be better than my '430 :-) 73 and thanks for all the input. Tom W7WHY
