The cat is old and indeed well fed. We have encountered, however, many critters in the barns from time to time. I "met" a large racoon there one evening, and just last year two possums died from acute lead poisoning in the back barn! But I suspect it is the squirrels who are chomping on the cable. BTW, they eat only the rotator cable--the coax so far has been OK! N8CL
