[RTTY] Icom 706 and HP laptop question

I use a IC-706MKIIG and Dell laptop for mobile RTTY.  I "interface" things
the exact same way I do when I use the radio in the main shack inside.  I
operate FSK using a simple transistor interface.  When I go mobile, I just
take the interface and cables to the car.  The PTT/FSK cable goes from
serial port to interface, and the output of the interface goes to the FSK
and PTT inputs on the 706.  Can you provide us with some more details and
