Hi lite: W4GKM/HR called me, but it was not my frequency. I moved up, called
CQ and he immediately found me. Thanks for the contact and the multiplier
Nick.
Disappointment: There seemed to be lots of room on the bands. I had been
calling CQ on 20 M at almost 1000 watts for over an hour and doing fairly
well. A seasoned operator moved in and stole my exact frequency. I repeatedly
informed him that the frequency was in use, but he ignored me. Eventually, I
put my amp on standby and moved. I forgot to switch my amp back on answered
N5TY. Ken had no problem copying my 20 watts. Strange.
I noticed that WriteLog ver. 1039 did not compile my Cabrillo file properly.
My Sent 599 is 3 columns too far to the right and my Received 599 is another
3 columns too far to the right. This moves other data 3 and 6 columns off the
correct position. I compared my Cabrillo log to the official Cabrillo spacing
at http://www.bartg.demon.co.uk/Contests/cabrillo.htm

Hope we all have fun in the next one.
