[RTTY] Confession - I hate QTC's

The QTC issue for RTTY goes not so much to skill as to effort.

Those who make the added EFFORT to copy or send QTCs (something that is NOT
predictable or that can be guessed) will have a higher score.

Those who have made the EFFORT to have a receiving set up including a
superior receiving antenna, in order to copy weak stations accurately, will move
along more quickly and, thus, work more stations in a given time period. Ergo, a
higher score.

It seems we have reached in this discussion, the same point the pro/con CW
discussion has reached. Those who like CW see its usefulness and think it's
great and derive great satisfaction from it. Those who are not willing to put
forth any effort debunk it as useless, stupid and a waste of time.

A great many people prefer to ridicule efforts by others that lead to
achievements unattainable in any other way.

A new saying seems destined to become an axiom:

"Anything worth doing, is worth doing SUPERFICIALLY."
