Hi all,
WOW! What else can you say about conditions? There must have been a lot of
virgins sacrificed for this one - come on - who did it?
15m was the band to be on, and I had an absolute ball on this band. Working
the west coast US stations was easy, and many were actually very strong
signals. KJ7TH, W7TI, VE7CF, K7WM etc are a few examples. Many were a good
S7-S9.
40 was also good, and I even worked Washington and Oregon there too!
Had a few nice band-fills on RTTY, but no all time new ones, although that
is now getting harder!
Got D4B on 4 bands (new on 40 and 20 for me), plus HC8N, although these guys
are slick, and must recognise part of my call.
Had a few nice runs calling CQ, and got some nice DX and "rare" States
calling me, such as NE0DX, WG7Y etc.
There were many new callsigns in this contest, which is great, and I am sure
they must have enjoyed their entry into the world of RTTY.
One small apology......... I must apologise for the lousy "free entry"
typing at my end! This is due to the fact that I have just got some glasses
for reading, and I am getting used to seeing things differently!
The monitors are just in that zone that is hard to see with glasses and
without. And when I look down at the keyboard, it seems to be in a different
place to normal!
I've just got my digital cetificate for LOTW, so I will be uploading my logs
during the next few weeks.
73 to all, and thanks for the points and the fun!
