Anyone on this list who also subscribes to the cq-contest mailing list is aware of the sudden passing of W4AN (Bill Fisher).  Bill was the driving force behind Contesting.com , E-Ham.net and the servers on which mailing lists such as this run. Bill didn't play on RTTY but he was a true contesters contester on the other modes.   

W4AN ask for and appreciated donations to keep the ham related serves running.  However what he did was a great service to our hobby that was not limited to the strictly contesting crowd.  With Bill now joining the every growing list of SKs, I cannot help but wonder what the fate of all the various mailing lists and server will be.
