Hi George and the group.......

Well, the ritual is NOT mine, but was deduced from several sources, all of
which claim it works!
It involves the cooperation of several willing virgins, but they seem as
scarce as the conditions these days!

I am still waiting to hear the T33 on RTTY, although I did just about hear
them on 30m CW yesterday (Monday 12th) but they were weak and watery
sounding. Besides, the pile-up from EU stations wasn't conducive to even
trying.

On Sunday morning, I woke up early, and decided to get up and see if 3B9C
were about on RTTY , as at that point, I still had not worked them on the
"normal" bands!
It was just after 8am local time, and after making a coffee, powering up the
rig etc, I tuned around 20m, only to find 5W0SS (op DF2SS) calling CQ!
Surprisingly, I got him first call, and he was actually quite loud here.
There was a bit of flutter on the signal, but I would easily have said it
was a 589 - 599 signal by ear, rather then the meter.
Shortly after that, T33C was spotted on 20m, yet there was no sign of him
here.
The 5W was a totally new one for me, which was great, and very unexpected.
And then to finish my day, I managed 3B9C on 10m RTTY around lunchtime, and
they were S9+ here. Curiously, I had been trying them on 10m PSK, although
they weren't very strong, and fading with the QSB when I saw them say QSY TO
10m RTTY NOW. Rather surprising they had such a good signal on RTTY, or
perhaps they were operating PSK with low power?

I've also seen the C2 station spotted on RTTY, but no sign of that one
either.

Don't forget to look for the 7Q7 team on RTTY too! I am told by Rich M5RIC
that they plan to enter the SPRVG RTTY contest!

Cheers for now from a sunny Guernsey!
