I try to email, if their address is available, every "never before worked on
RTTY" contact that I have, in each contest. Among other things, included in
that email, are the URL's for "everything one wanted to know, but was afraid
to ask", about RTTY. I have received some very appreciative responses.
As far as the "distorted, etc" signals, a "private" email to them should go
a long way is solving that problem? My solution to those type of problems,
along with those that work me, then move 20Hz, and start calling CQ, is to
never again work them. That could be a "cutting of the nose, to spite the
face" solution, but it's mine, and everyone else's "mileage may vary"?
