Note the the RigExpert also provides a substitute for the sound card,
and level conversions for all the possibilities of control signals
that I know of, including lines for CW keying, PTT, FSK, and rig
control, and uses a minimum of cables.

You can certainly get a USB "sound card" that Windows recognizes as
such, and use a Belkin, with appropriate level conversion, if
necessary for control.  And it would work with MMTTY and MMSSTV, as well
as with MixW, and cost less, probably.

But I'm not sorry I have gotten the RigExpert.
