In fifty years there certainly will not be any library's. Any that there
are certainly won't have QST's in binders anymore. So you will look them
up on some sort of electronic media in any case in 50 years.
Much easier to store a CD collection. e.g. http://www.rjcdroms.com I
tossed all of my RTTY Journals and replaced it with the CD collection.
Same with my NCJ's. It will be the same with QST's and much easier with
web based articles and writeups IMHO. In fact that's why I got Hal Blegen,
WA7EGA, to write about the history of the ARRL RTTY Roundup a year or two
ago. Now its saved and can be read by anyone in years to come.
Sort of like I saw on here in the last couple of day's something about CQ's
rules for the WPX. Much easier with the web and with Don's fine site
http://www.rttycontesting.com
I don't use a Model 28 anymore either.....and don't miss it much, tho I did
just finish making a ST-5 from an original kit.
