[RTTY] FT-920

According to the ARRL lab tests the FT-920 is a better receiver than
the FT-990 and most especially in the areas of third order intercept
and phase noise. The blocking dynamic range and the minimum discernible
signal are slightly better on the 920. The 920 also has a few more
bells and whistles. One negative remark is the slower than expected
fall off of the 5-th and higher odd order nonlinearity products. This
will lead to some IMD difficulties in a really crowded / contest
riddled band. It does appear that the 920 is a trade up overall.

apparently no expanded report was ever done for the 990.

Subject: [RTTY] FT-920

I am thinking of replacing my FT-990 radios with FT-920's. Can someone
help me out on this as I am not for sure if this is an improvement or
not?

Thanks in advance.
