Don,

Nice looking new station setup. I saw your spot this morning for the 3B9C
long path on 20-RTTY.  I had a solid RTTY contact with them on 29-Mar on 15
meters at 1403z and even snapped a Mac screenshot of the exchange. That and
about a dollar will get you a cup of coffee.  I checked the online log this
morning and I am NOT in the log.  I even checked to see if they thought I
was "AU" rather than "VU" and neither call registered. You may have worked
them on the 30th and the log was updated as of the 29th. Looks like I have
to do again and band seems dead today.

FYI, I have been beta testing the new DarwinPsk program by Volker, DL1KSV,
that is a Macintosh OSX port of LinPsk.  I have it interfaced to the
TS-570D(G) using a SiganLink SL-1+ and it works great for PSK31. Volker is
still working to improve the RTTY reception.

I have been spoiled operation RTTY with a PK-232 in FSK. Going to a sound
card implementation where you HAVE to operate in USB (not LSB or FSK) is
really confusing.  I have no idea where to tune the VFO or how to spot
stations. If I see a spot I put the rig on that frequency then try have to
find them on the spectral display.

If I want to spot new station and the radio display reads 14.085.00 USB but
I had to work him  to the far left of the spectral display, what frequency
should I use for the spot?  Life was easy when everyone was using AFSK-LSB
or FSK. It is now more confusing.
