VU is a VERY tough path for most parts of North America. I went MANY years
without working VU on RTTY. It wasn't until AT0J was active in the 1988 CQWW
RTTY contest did I work and confirm it.
VU2WAP is important because after being quite active on RTTY in 2001, has been
infrequent to RTTY. I worked him four times in 2001 & 2002 including both 2001
and 2002 CQWW RTTY contests. With him being active around this time can only
suggest that he will be active in this weekend's CQWW RTTY contest.
Man, I am FIRED UP FOR CQWW RTTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After going through all these damn storms and the work afterward, I'm looking
forward to blowing some RF!!!!
Let's Rock 'n Roll!!!!
Not sure if I will be Low Power or High Power, but today I received four ICE
high-pass TV filters that should protect my neighbor from the PW-1. The way I
feel right now, I feel like cranking up the power. But who knows? I like low
power.
