"Destroying" years of records is the least of my worries. I compete 
against who's playing now, not someone from long ago.

Contests have always been updated when needed. At one time power 
categories were added, number of ops was added, the assisted category 
was added and so on.

Nobody is saying the contests are "broken". Times change.
