I used to have a 1000D, so I guess that's what I was thinking of...

OK, so it looks like if I want to run PSK efficiently, I'll have to patch 
my sound card TX audio into the mike jack rather than the back of the 
radio on the Packet audio....or else play some games with the packet 
passband/offset settings.
