I was just checking DARC Web Page and found some interesting thing:
Michael, K4GMH participated in WAE RTTY 1974..., the very first one WAE RTTY Contest. 
My Hat is OFF, Michael! 
You took 4th Place in North America in 1974!
Over THIRTY years in RTTY, this is amazing!
I did not check further more, I guess some other other guys were active back in 1974.
