         Soapbox :
Saturday's DX conditions were lousy here, I even considered switching
to the high
power category. Trouble is my little amp only goes to about 400W out on
RTTY, which
doesn't compare to the other entries in that category. I am glad that I
didn't switch, as
the conditions on Sunday morning were amazing here for this point in the
cycle. Signals
ran from 14050 up to above 14.140. I have never seen so wide a span owing
to the tremendous amount of RTTY activity. Many new call signs
were seen.
We surely miss 15M with it's very wide available space. Very little
15M activity seen here, though I checked often.
I decided not to bother with cluster spotting on my low speed rural dial
up internet
line.
This contest was so much fun that I found I really didn't care
how I placed in the standings.

 I put in 25 hours.
