No matter how good the commercially made verticals are, you *can* 
build a better one yourself. The commercial units are always a 
compromise in area of traps and/or loading coils. Homebrewers have no 
such limitations. If you're serious about your antennas, get a copy 
of the ARRL Antenna handbook and study it thoroughly.
