[RTTY] dashes vs. no dashes

Bill,
Manual typewriters never did, and Electric Typewriters did not until 
the Electronic Typewriters came out on the market.
Not even the IBM Selectric I or II had word-wrap.  Since I used to 
work on the durn things for Remington .. I "should" know.
