[RTTY] Tuner for High Power RTTY

Rick,
The XMatch from N4XM will handle it, but it's pretty pricey. If you don't
have a wide range of impedances to match I would suggest purchasing a vacuum
variable and a large edge-wound inductor and making an L-network (I think
when all is said and done that's what you'll end up with if you get an
XMatch.). My experience has been that most commercially available tuners are
a compromise on the lower bands. Usually configured as T-network works,
they'll match loads well below and well above 50 ohms, but the loss is
fairly high, especially on 80 and 160.
Did you design the class E amp? Would you care to provide any info? I guess
class E is a good solution for RTTY since you don't need a linear amplifier
for FSK, right?
