Correct, but the dial may read correctly, depending on the radio and how it
is set up.  For instance, the FT1000MP SHOULD be set to "OFFSET" in the
menus so it will automatically add the AFSK offset frequency to the dial
(which is also programmable on the MP, by the way).  This means if you are
transmitting on the normal tone frequencies, your dial will read exactly the
RF zero-beat frequency of your "mark" carrier.
