Not sure.

A DX Contest (and also casual DX operation) will answer to ("what is
propagating" AND "who is at the radio"). If one of these 2 condition is
missing, you can't hear anybody. Neither can you tell which condition is
missing...

I've recently tried that FAROS program (recently featured on QST cover)
and found it really interesting.

When operating the CQWW RTTY, i just took care not to transmit around
14.100. So simple.

If one doesn't care about the beacons, that's OK, but why does he care
about having his callsign listed amongst other beacon offenders ?

You can't have "le beurre et l'argent du beurre" !
