Evening all,

Well, this contest was always going to be a limited effort from me, as it
was an extended weekend with the Easter break, and as we also had extremely
good weather, it was har d to find time to play RTTY.
The XYL had various gardening jobs lined up, and I had also made a
commitment to go for a ride on the motorbike on the Sunday afternoon with
some old friends.

My first 10 contacts were real hard work, with loads of repeats of serials,
and I really began to wonder what conditions were going to be like for the
rest of the contest, and then I noticed the stupid mistake!
I was squirting my power into the G5RV tuned for 40m, rather than the
mini-beam!
Kudos to Steve AI9T for hearing me, as I was only putting out about 20
watts! Also to Nick W4GKM and VY2SS!
I can understand the EU's hearing me, but AI9T was a real surprise.

It was also good to hear (and work) W7WW and VA7ST, both of whom sounded
like EU stations! Bud VA7ST was a real S9+10 here, and David was S9.
Also bagged AD6WL later on, although it was hard to get him to hear me at
all.
One big surprise for me was to get KI4MF call me on 40m at 0702UTC. This was
a couple of hours past my sunrise, and he was S9 here. At first, I thought
it must be IK4, but sure enough, it was KI4! Thanks for my only W on 40m!

Nice to see some decent EA participation too, and judging from the way some
QSO's were conducted, there were some that were new to RTTY. Well done for
trying!

Here is my meagre score:
A. Single OP., All band

QSOs	Points	DX:	Provinces	Call Areas
80m: 0 0 0 0 0

10m: 0 0 0 0 0
Total: 120 233 46 28 11

Total multipliers:	85
Score: 19805

Thanks to all for the fun and the points, and see you in the next one.
My log is already on LoTW, but QSL's are welcome any way you want (except
e-QSL!)
