I would recommend not sending "KN", "K", "BK" or anything of the like.
Those are valuable prosigns for CW because they make it clear that
it's your turn to transmit. In RTTY, dropping the carrier serves the
same purpose. In a non-contest situation nobody cares, but in a
contest, milliseconds really do count.
