The PK232 was never a state of the art demodulator, but it's still hard to
beat MMTTY.  RITTY beats it by a very thin hair for reception performance
but you need an ISA bus sound card!

I also have a PK-232 (working, modified filters, properly aligned with a
tone generator and oscilloscope)... 
  It is sitting on the shelf above me gathering dust... 
  A few years back we set up the PK-232 running under MixW with both the
soundcard and the PK-232 printing the same signal in side by side windows...

  After doing that experiment a number of times over a few weeks I retired
the PK-232...
  Get the cables and software (MMTTY is free) and fire up your soundcard and
you will quickly forget about the PK-232 for RTTY...
