Yes, everything is grounded to one point and then from this point goes
to the ground. As I have already written, I'd used previously the
TS450S/AT and it didn't make any problems with the same grounding
configuration.

I don't think so. I've seen that the antenna was almost perfectly
fitted, the SWR was practically 1.
Anyway, I think it's maybe the problem with the transceiver, as Joe
Subich suggested.
