I'm not in Vegas, but there is a mini hamfest at the AES store in LV the 1st Saturday of each month.  I don't know how big of a deal it is as I had not been to it.  The store is not far off the strip but it is a quick cab ride and easy to drive to if you have a car.  Take a look at their website for the LV store.  There are also a couple of repeaters listed there to try.
