One of the agreements at the World Radio Conference WRC-03 in 2003
moved broadcast stations out 7100-7200 kilohertz on 29 March 2009.
After that date, 7100-7200 kilohertz will become a worldwide exclusive
amateur allocation.

I haven't seen any discussions on how that will affect the 40M bandplan
and where RTTY, especially RTTY DX will be "placed". Will RTTY move to
7070 - 7099 on a worldwide basis and away from the 7040 DX frequency
that has been used for the past 40 to 50 years? Is now the time to
discuss this topic and to organize an effort to get our voices heard?
