[RTTY] OT: WD-1A wire for antennas

I have found some WD-1A field telephone wire for a decent price.  I was
thinking of useing this to build a Windom.  From what I have read, it
looks like a good strong wire.

My real question is has anyone here worked with the stuff?  Will the
copper strands take solder?
