Well, if you are willing to show your gentlemanly behavior
by recognizing the 30+ year history of using 160 meters for
the ARRL contest that weekend and not intentionally QRM the
event with your upstart RTTY contest, perhaps it would be
possible to cut RTTY activity some slack other times.
Gentlemanly behavior cuts both ways. It is usually incumbent
on those who wish to change the status quo to find a way to
work with those already in the field.
