I question if a DX would ever accept a text file (easily edited) as proof.

I have had QSLs denied for two tranposed letters in my call sign within a
DXs SSB log (not my fault)

If it important I always spot it before logging it. Log it. And do a single
QSO LoTW update immediately.

If the log blows up you can always go to DXSummit or LoTW and get the info.

If a legit, complete, two way interchange has not been achieved then, as
unfair as it might be, it is not a valid contact.
